How you turn them off depends on your vehicle type. This may result in the parking lights also being on. I don't believe there is a way to turn them off permanently unless you were to somehow reprogram the computer to turn them off by installing a chip specifically designed for that. It's clearly shown in the owner's manual. Remove the relay, snip pin 87, and re-insert. Any self defense tutor would always advise that the first rule is do not make yourself a target. Fold over pin 85 or 86, this is the relay coil reinsert relay.

They are not separately fused and do not have a dedicated relay. Suppose using Carista gives a degree of functionality compared to needing a laptop plugged in. The automatic headlights were a special nuisance to me since I have to go on a military base and when you pass through the gates you should dim to parking lights. Clean the corrosion off the wire connectors and replace the fuse if it's burnt out. These toggles can be remotely located with some wire and a little time. Slide thin flatblade screwdriver under relay. Radio and windows work until a door is opened or 20 minutes goes by. Not sure if this maybe an option if other regions are selected. We will be working with only 2 of the 14 wires in this connector. Under the lid is a diagram of the fuses with labels. There should be a dark blue wire. Push it towards the drivers side will disengage it from it's mounting clips.
