Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! I hope you can understand what i say. Anything over that is essentially wasted framerate. Does anyone have the same problem? At first I was worried that it was a performance issue, but even games like the binding of Isaac gave this issue. Also, I haven't experienced a difference in any other games. Can you describe the issue better? The real world isn't displayed in frames.
But I found out that my other monitor looked better when I played Fortnite on it which has a Display Port of 3840x2160, so I started using this monitor but found out it gives me a really low frame rate even when I have my settings on epic it drops to about 15fps. This is so random I don't know what has caused this at all. I am sure they are 60fps-games because at the pc of my parents which is much older they run at 60fps. I just got a new laptop and after trying a couple different games I can't ever get a game to run at more than 60 fps. On both computers, I have attempted to run osu! Any help would be very appreciated! Power plan is set to High Performance and battery is set to High Performance in the Windows Mobility Center and i have tried disabling Vsync in games.
The reason replies like this annoy me so much, is that I almost was going to return my laptop based on this. I finally got fed up and did a clean install of the computer and seems to have solved it. For example; Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 is a game that runs at a standard 60fps so this is a 60fps-game. Everything that was plugged in is the same. It means you have roughly 8ms advantage of seeing the bottom half of the screen. Your parent might have put in a newer videocard at some point. The native res of your laptop will be 60Hz.
Any help at all would be amazing. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Who I feel sorry for are those who didn't. If you're using a laptop, click the battery icon in the notification area on the taskbar By default, the Balanced and Power saver plans appear on the battery meter. Restarting my computer did not do the trick, and I analyze this issue with osu! I had been running at 91fps without movement and it was perfect and I had absolutely no problems. And yes, I do play with my laptop plugged in Nonetheless, the issue continues to persist. I'm really unsure of whats going on. You receive no performance improvement from producing more frames than your monitor can display.
It could be that your laptop has some limiter built in that prevents it from doing anything that pushes the hardware too far. Please do not respond with something saying you need to make sure to have knowledge of, if you yourself have got no clue of what a gaming laptop is. On a side note it also refuses to go above 30 fps when the charger isn't plugged in. You can also try updating or reinstalling your graphics drivers. The average is around 30 fps regardless of what you think. Change the 'Window Mode' option to Window or Borderless aka Windowed Fullscreen.

Are all games, both disk based and Steam or games from similar sites , locked at 60 fps, with no frame rate variation at all while playing the games? If need be, I can fetch additional information that may be relevant to this problem. Please mention if I may have missed something relevant. I took a shot at disabling fullscreen optimizations. Luckily I didn't settle for one answer and checked more threads. I have two Samsung Monitors that both run at 60 Hz.
I understand what you're saying, I also have a high-end tower that I do the majority of my gaming on, this laptop is just for when I'm away from home, traveling for example. I have enable battery boost and set it to 60fps in Geforce Experience. I've been trying for the last few hours but nothing seems to work? I´m not aware of any other application in my computer, which should keep my fps capped, especially when it started to happen after downloading the update. They completely reinstalled drivers of both the Nvidia and Intel. I do not believe I have such programs installed.
It means you have roughly 8ms advantage of seeing the bottom half of the screen. Being in fullscreen, the same issue occurs! To put things into perspective, world-class olympic athletes participating in sprint races have roughly 110ms reaction time. Your laptop may have dual video onboard and dedicated. Run both Fortnite Launcherand Client at High Priority, and terminate Epic Launcher, AntiCheat. Hello I'm having a problem with my computer, I can't seem to make WoW run with more than 60 fps, Ultra settings or minimum, whatsoever it's stuck at 60 , Do anyone know an solution to my problem? You get zero performance gain from seeing 200fps compared to seeing 60fps because your monitor can only display 60fps as a max. Thanks for the speedy response! I'm am very very desperate for help as I'm under stress from school and this is something that I can't left go unfixed.
