A little bit of it was fine, but it became tiresome as they quite doing it over and over again. I found myself really digging the first half of Skeletons in the Closet. Anyway, The Widow and Charlie settle down to watch a horror anthology called Chop Shop that we will be watching. The plot was gripping and the main actors that were picked for this film were excellent choices, they were very good at their parts but the minor and extras needed to be a bit more believable. The end of the story reveals many secrets. It could have been a lot of fun if the film shifted gears again to focus on how Jamie and Tina would deal with the escaped mental patient. I feel that everyone should consider watching this movie.
It may be a shortcut, but it adds to the sense of Friday Night monster movie fun. For most part this can be made up for by the acting achievements, but the characters simple don't get the amount of time they would deserve on screen. That's the only thing I can think of. Lots of creepy moments, laughs, and overall enjoyment. Jamie, an 11 year old girl with a slight obsession with horror, is the their biggest fan and never misses an episode.
We see that Grandma is harboring a pretty horrible secret. I think that actually works to the advantage of this film. He deals with shortages and problems of society in an amusing fashion, but while doing so he struggles to fight his way through a mountain of motives, of which any single one would have given enough material to create a whole movie with it, therefore, he loses sight of what's really important. I really only found Kacey interesting because she a young horror fan. I won't harp on the look of him as this is a cheesy late night show. The tone between the hosts of Skeletons in the Closet is pretty hokey and tongue-in-cheek. This mismatch in style and drastic change in tone left me confused.
