They go to the Duke farm and take the Dukes hostage, along with their mortgage money, which causes Boss and Rosco to come to the farm and foreclose, and get caught up in it. Bo and Luke are anxious to buy an old wreck of a car from the crooked local dealer Ace Parker that has a good engine in it. Bo swims to shore, and Rosco tries to arrest him, but the truck is sinking, so everyone gets to go home, because this is the last five minutes of the episode. But to get Boss out of the way, they frame him for sabotaging Jesse's car in the old timer's race when his car flips over.
Jesse goes over to the window and sees the boys peeking in. Meanwhile, over in Sweetwater County, Chief Lacey who used to be chief of police in Springville County ; I guess maybe he took a different job? But Boss and Rosco are already onto Molly and the Dukes. Everyone goes back to the farm, where Molly and Alice cook the Dukes a feast by way of an apology. Meanwhile, Bo and Luke, having stolen the clothes off a scarecrow, eventually make it back to the Duke farm, where the fastest wake ever is going on. Away from the political changes in British country brings Francis shortly after his own past, and he is confronted with the bodies he had buried in his own basement forced once.
