Turbulence 2 is pretty stock standard stuff. I guess Jeffrey Nordling isn't bad as a terrorist but he isn't manic enough. After reaching his intended altitudes and acquiring a signal, he retracts the spoilers and opens the cargo door. After a false start - a scared guy on a plane opens the hatch only to reveal to the audience that it's just a demonstration plane on the ground - we finally get on with the real flight proper, which happens to be filled with people who have a fear of flying. Martin, with the help of another passenger Jessica , goes down to the cargo bay and notifies a fellow Seattle Robert Sikes of the hijack via a system which Elliot doesn't notice. An aerospace engineer, Martin Messerman , notices that Elliot had placed the detonator in his pocket. With a running time of about 72-minutes and released by Pacific Time Entertainment the score to Turbulence 2: Fear of Flying is worth a listen, even if the film might not be.

We see footage of some guys hands assembling what must be a bomb; the evil music playing in the background tells us this. Martin broadcasts Elliot's demands: no police, no armed personnel, await further instructions. Nothing to see here, move along. The plot twist in the middle is obvious from the beginning.
One by one, starting with the co-pilot, passengers start falling unconscious. Martin is forced to make a flyby over Sea-Tac Airport, but objects due to fuel levels. That's about the limit of the action unfortunately, combined with a couple of gunshots and the death of one guy by Nordling who has knives literally up his sleeve. A group of freighted passengers, some superficial individual dramatic situations, terrorists, pilot and cabin crew killed or sick, an alert and smart passenger that has never piloted a plane but knows a lot about planes , a helpful lady, a doctor, some torture and murders, plane with very few fuel, enough just for one trial of landing the aircraft, happy end for the survivals, a beginning of a love sealed by a kiss between the smart passenger that saved the survivals and the helpful lady How many times have we, simple viewers, faced this screenplay? He is about to shoot Martin but Martin says that he is an aerospace engineer and can land the plane. He's about to tell the discovery to his colleague, Douglas Hall, but knowing someone is after him, the old man leaves a letter in his computer generated parallel world that's just like the 30's with seemingly real people with real emotions.
