But in this movie she comes alive, literally and figuratively. . Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. But, to their dismay, they discover that Bella is pregnant. Thanks, Stephenie Meyer, for creating this tale of heart-wrenching pain and joy. This is the best of all the Twilight movies. The fetus is growing at an accelerated rate and everyone fears for Bella's safety.
I would have to say my 2 most favorite is eclipse and this one are my most 2 favorite out of the series but then again I love each and every one of them for different reason. Movies for me followed fairly soon after. When her mother remarried and Bella chooses to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she didn't expect much of anything to change. Jacob becomes upset when he learns that Bella is planning to consummate the marriage on her honeymoon. I original seen Twilight in theaters and have seen the rest in theaters too.
Cast has good chemistry and nice to see a semi-degree of Jacob and Edward almost liking each other. The credits at the end are also very well done. Characters remain likeable, especially Kellan Lutz Emmett - gets hunkier with each episode. In particular, I really like the complex dynamic between the wolves, the vamps, the people, the other vamps and the Italian vamps. I love all the movies and the books there amazing. The names of the actors are shown along with video clips of the characters they played, going back through all the previous Twilight movies as well. I'm 60 now, and the story resonates with me still.
Admittedly, I did not read the books, but I think that the movies were interesting and kept my attention throughout. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella's blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward's sake. Each movie seems to have a primary crisis of some sort that leads to a significant moment of resolution at the end. Will she go ahead with her pregnancy, whatever the cost? And, I couldn't disagree more with the reviewer who said to stay away from this movie if you like the books. I know that there are things left out of these movies, just like other movies that are based on books. Not so much of movies. That being said, these movies are amazing, and this ending was simply stunning! Really, that was under control to some extent by the time this movie came along, but in earlier films of the series it was a bit tedious.
I love the books, but I also love the movies. I love all of them. Jackson Rathbone Jasper continues to have the best posture in the movie industry. In previous movies I kept wondering why in the heck everyone was making such a big deal and even bothering with the morose Bella. I read the books when they were fairly new, maybe a year or so after my then elementary-to-middle school aged daughter did. Danger in different forms awaits. I don't want to give anything away, so I'll leave it at that.
Overall the movie was good, some exciting scenes, some humorous ones as well. Doubtful someone who's not seen the other installments would have interest in seeing this one. I recommend this to any Twilight fan. Bella Swan has always been a little bit different. After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family.
The Quileutes close in as the unborn child poses a threat to the Wolf Pack and the towns people of Forks. Worth seeing if you're a Twi-hard. Wish more human wolves made appearances. We were on the edge of our seats through the entire thing. They were mostly in wolf form throughout.
Great to see Valturi's asses getting kicked. I now have all the Twilight movies and each one is my favorite. The wedding over, Bella and Edward spend their honeymoon on the Cullen's idyllic private island. Never one to run with the crowd, Bella never cared about fitting in with the trendy, plastic girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. Bella and Edward are to marry. . .
