You can go to to find the correct oil available in the states for your vehicle. The manifold has 3 ports: Stock switch + new oil pressure sender + new oil temp sender if you choose to do all three, else plug the unused port. I had my sensor broken and a replacement sensor still triggered a warning at 1500 rpm. So, you could have one gauge that displays oil pressure and boost at the same time- saves space etc. Good luck; the information in this thread was the most useful I found anywhere on the topic specifically related to that car. The only constant is that it is cold out and only briefly flashes. No alarms at all except for when I turn on the ignition.
If the pump failed your engine would be gone by now more than likely unless the pump for some reason is worn and is producing right on the limit of the oil pressure sensor. Once you figure out what is missing, it will be easier to diagnose. It still happens but I can't reproduce it. These type of comments add so much to the Pelican tech community. Doesn't seem to be a problem but I really watch it for the first couple miles. A great many of these car have had the engine trays and front side panels removed over the years and not replaced.
Edit: Here's a picture of the oil cap. As for the low pressure warning, what oil weight are you using? A Tee is installed there, into which the stock pressure sending switch + the new oil pressure sending unit is installed. We took it off and it was corroded,the seal had failed and was pumping water into the block. Base of that housing, on passenger side, you'll see something screwed in with single wire sticking out. It may be that the switch is bad even though it is new. If you don't care about warranty, you can use any oil you want. I would suggest you grab a repair manual, you should own one.

Actually I think it might be a device marketed by auto-meter gauges, that I purchased through Summit racing. When the oil warms up, it is less dense, and its ability to produce pressure is reduced. Took it to garage who found split in header tank. The beeping you hear is a low oil pressure warning beep. It's only displayed twice and has gone away after about a minute.
If you are getting oil pressure lights, obviously check fluid level, double check what type you put in. Second panel: if you open your driver side car door it's under neath a panel located inbetween the door and the dash board. If you do not take the time to include this basic information your post may be removed until it is revised. And I wasn't willing to risk it. Their gauges, each gauge has a needle and digital display. The buzzer is usually for low pressure which means catastrophic failure could be imminent unless I figure out what's wrong before I lock up the engine, starve it for oil, throw a bearing, etc.
Is there any dead giveaway for bad oil pump? I'd venture to guess that that the 4 spray oilers for cooling purposes primarily at the bottom of each cylinder and the oil feed to the Turbo have a tendacy to lower the pressure comparative to a similar engine without those characteristics. The switch is not expensive or all that difficult to get out but it is in a really tight spot and you must remove the wiring harness connection before you can remove the switch. Now twice while driving on the highway, that oil pressure light and chime has sounded. But I think because of the weather it could just be related to that. The item must be new and in its original manufacturer packaging to be eligible for a cash refund. But driving it home, driving it to the grocery store - nothing since. If during normal warm up and driving, the pressure drops below what is acceptable for the engine, the oil pressure light will come on, warning you that major engine damage is impending.
