If it was turned off for any reason, that could have been causing the issue where you could not connect to a wireless network or even an issue where you could not see the wireless network at all in the list. They say this is always the case. After a restart I am able to connect and stay connected. If you can, try uninstalling it and seeing if that fixes your issue. Sometimes it connects in the first time.
